What can you do?
After your operation it is important that you maintain a healthy fluid intake. Do this while you have the catheter and after it has been removed.

If you are experiencing incontinence, don't be tempted to reduce your fluid intake. This can be difficult. Try adjusting the times you drink to fit in with your lifestyle.

Have regular drinks of water and other fluids that don't contain caffeine or alcohol.
Your urine should be a clear, light yellow colour. If it is dark yellow it suggests that you are not drinking enough. Very light or colourless urine may indicate you are drinking more than is needed.

You may read that some foods or supplements can help slow down or reduce the risk of prostate cancer returning. Conversely, you may also read that other foods increase the risk of prostate cancer returning.
